About Us

Having been a book collector for a number of years, I started trading at fairs in the late 1970s and went on to open my own bookshop in 1979.

While bringing up a family I enjoyed community life in Yorkshire and furthered my knowledge and experience within the used and rare book world.

In 1992 I opened a second shop in Great Ayton and traded until 2001.

During the last 6 years I also built up a collection of books relating to sculpture and associated arts which were exhibited at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
